T-Minus 7 Days!
Hello all!
With our wedding fast approaching (next week?!) it seemed a good time to send some last minute reminders and information for attending either in-person or online.
Attending Virtually:
If you RSVP’d virtual or otherwise can’t attend in-person, we have a zoom link that will go live shortly before the ceremony (5pm Eastern) and run for about an hour. Stick around after the ceremony for a few minutes so Lauren and I can say hi to all of you attending from afar!
Attending In-Person:
If you have RSVP’d in-person, we’ll be expecting you at the Escanaba Yacht Club around 4:45pm where you will be directed to the nearby outdoor gazebo for the ceremony at 5pm. The ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Escanaba Yacht Club including dinner, drinks, music, and an eclectic mix of entertainment options late into the night.
FAQ:
Q: What should I wear?
A: We ask that you dress chiefly for the weather (looking like partly cloudy with a high in the mid-70s) as the ceremony and reception will both be outdoors and we have limited capacity to treat heat or sun related illness. There will be some (optional) lawn games and other physical activities available during the reception so if you intend to partake ensure that your outfit is suited to the task. Think “Garden Party”.
Q: Where should I park?
A: If you have a personal vehicle, please park at the Escanaba Municipal Marina or nearby public street parking (free).
Q: I’m flying into Escanaba and don’t have a car, can I get a lift to/from the wedding/my hotel?
A: Yes! Please feel free to email me (juxtaprax@tuta.io) with your travel details and we’ll help coordinate a ride for you.
Q: Can I take photos?
A: We ask that you please don’t take photos during the ceremony (we have a professional photographer for that), but welcome you to take photos during the reception. If you take any photos or videos during our reception, we invite you to upload them to our digital photo-book via this link.
Any other questions? Feel free to shoot me an email (juxtaprax@tuta.io).
Looking forward to seeing you all next week!
– Juxta & Lauren Sprague
